Good morning! What a sign God gives: a virgin (whom we know as Mary) will conceive, being overshadowed by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35) and bear a Son (Jesus) whom you will call Immanuel (which means God with us).

Mary fulfills the promise that God gave to Eve in Genesis 3:15, a promise of a seed who would come and crush Satan as a consequence for tempting God’s imagebearers and thus reversing the curse of sin brought in the world.
